June Update

Well its been a while since i last wrote a blog or newsletter so thought it was about time I updated you on all the changes that have been happening recently.

Firstly, regulars among you will have noticed that we have had a bit of a shake up in terms of the Roast team. I just want to say a quick thank you for bearing with us I hope you will agree we now have a much friendlier and customer focused approach to customer service. I am confident they will look after you when I go on maternity leave at the end of the summer.

We have been working hard behind the scenes creating a new menu for the summer which has really been instigated by so many of you getting creative with your sandwiches. Popular customer creations include Chicken & Bacon with Applewood Cheese, Ham & Savoury Cheese and Mozerella, Peppers & Pesto to name but a few. With this in mind, we are going to be structuring our sandwiches much like our Build your own Salad, whereby you can choose your bread, filling or fillings and then add any salad, chutneys etc to your liking. But don’t worry, the Speciality Sandwiches will still be on the board, along with some new ones. I’ll send out a quick mail once i’ve finalised all the boring stuff (re-programming the till, updating the website, getting menus printed etc) which will hopefully be in a week or so.

Along with the new menu, we also have some new offers available everyday...

  • Free Hot Drink when you buy a soup with any sandwich or salad
  • Any Hot Drink and cake for £3 after 2pm
  • Sausage or Bacon Deli Rolls £1.50 to eat in or takeaway before 10.30am
  • Free Delivery on orders placed before 10.30 (£10 min order value for Whitehills, £15 everywhere else)

Have you got your Loyalty Card yet? Pick one up from the till next time you buy a hot drink and when you have collected 9 stamps you can trade it in for a free one! And if you need any other reason to treat yourself to one of our artisan coffees, check out the below article on The Times website featuring our very own Lancaster based artisan coffee suppliers Sue & Ian Steel. Don’t forget, because our coffee is blended just for us you can’t get it anywhere else.

Coming soon (or as soon as the weather picks up)......Outside Furniture to while away your lunch break (or the whole afternoon if you can get away with it!) in the sunshine.....Ice Creams and Ice Lollies.....and possibly a jug of Pimms or two.....

Hope to see you soon
